Bringing law to life with laughter - Sue Holden (8th July 2024)

To celebrate summer the committee decided to serve Pimms & lemonade at our July (8th) meeting - thankfully the weather didn’t let us down as we’d had a lovely sunny day. Our speaker was Sue Holden with her talk on ‘Bringing the Law to life with laughter’ a very entertaining evening all round. We had also invited Ann Beckett, CFWI Treasurer who was our WI Advisor when we set up as a new WI group in 2016, lovely to see & catch up with Ann again at our meeting. Our refreshment ladies were Majorie Earle & Ann Downes who were very busy serving Pimms & nibbles to all our members on the night, so thank you ladies. Also a very big Thank You to all the Committee who always do a fantastic job at our meetings & of course behind the ‘scenes’
