Our February meeting (12/2/24) - We welcomed David Seddon talking about ‘Escapism & Nonsense’ lovely listening to the poetry & stories of Lewis Carroll, Edward Lear & many more, some we’d heard about others not. Lovely feedback from some of our members who really enjoyed his talk.
Thanks to our refreshment ladies Gill Green & Alison Brammer. Big thanks to all our members who have volunteered to serve our refreshments for the rest of this year. Prem blankets & all the other knitted items for the babies greatly received as were the bereavement bags ready to be taken when needed to Macclesfield hospital. Our very own Birthday card Fairy - Pam Hudson was surprised by her ‘60th’ Birthday gift & we had a fabulous Valentine themed raffle - Thanks again Clare Duffield. Thanks to all the Committee for all their hard work
